| Forté’s
therapists help manage and treat orthopedic problems such as back, neck,
and joint pain, difficulty reaching or bending, and arthritis. We also provide
rehabilitation services for patients after surgery. We work with adults
of all ages and levels of ability to help them return to their previous
level of activity. Whether the goal is returning to playing sports, taking
care of the garden, getting back to work, or moving around better at home,
Forté can help. Our physical therapists begin with a thorough evaluation to identify the cause of the problem. After the evaluation, a specialized therapy program is designed around the individual’s particular problems. Therapy sessions often require manual techniques such as soft tissue or joint mobilizations along with specific activities to strengthen muscles, restore/ increase joint motion, or improve coordination. The patient’s status is monitored during each visit and treatments are constantly adjusted to enhance progress.
