Katrina Costagliola, PT, CLT
Katrina attended Boston University where she got her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 2006 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2009.
While in college, she worked as a receptionist at the Jimmy Fund Clinic, the pediatric cancer clinic of Dana Farber. Seeing the impact clinicians can make with cancer patients, she decided to do her Doctorate Practicum on the evidence-based practice of physical therapy for women following breast cancer treatment. It was doing this time that she first learned about lymphedema and the specialized treatment it requires.
After graduating from PT school, she worked in a variety of inpatient settings including long term acute care hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Her interest in becoming a certified lymphedema therapist never faded during this time, and in 2021 she was offered the chance to receive her certification. She became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in May 2021 and began working at Forte in July 2021 with a focus on lower extremity lymphedema.
When not working, Katrina enjoys spending time with her husband and spitfire daughter. She also enjoys traveling, particularly to visit friends and family across the country or to discover a new adventure. She also enjoys cooking, crocheting, spending time in any body of water, and trying new restaurants.
