Mary Bishara, PT, DPT
Mary received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ in 2017. Mary has a great deal of experience treating different populations with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. She is a PORi Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist focusing on rehabilitation of breast cancer patients.
Following graduation, she started working in a hospital setting with split inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Mary continued to enhance her knowledge and experience by working with young adults in their home environment, under the Division of Development Disabilities.
Mary has taken several educational courses to further promote her learning. Mary is STMT-C certified (soft tissue manual tool and cupping), as well as a Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery Therapist. Mary is also a PORi Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist. Additionally, she has served as a clinical instructor for Rutgers University prospect physical therapy students.
In 2021, Mary moved to San Antonio and joined Forté Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. She brings her expertise in orthopedic physical therapy to focus on secondary cancer related musculoskeletal conditions.
In her spare time, Mary enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her husband and dog. She also enjoys exercising, listening to podcasts, and baking.
