Rachel Fey-Larsen, PT, CLT
Rachel Larsen is the founder and President of Forté Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and a PORi-Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist. She graduated from University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 1994 and very quickly developed an interest in lymphedema and oncology management. She established Forté Rehabilitation as a lymphedema clinic in 2002 and expanded services to include comprehensive rehabilitation for all cancer patients in 2006. She is a frequent guest lecturer for numerous organizations including her alma mater, the UTHSCSA Department of Physical Therapy, on the topic of oncology rehabilitation and lymphedema management. She authored the chapter, “Decongestive Therapy for the Treatment of Lymphedema” for the fifth edition of Beards Massage, Principles and Practice of Soft Tissue Manipulation. She is a member of the Oncology section of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association.
Rachel also founded the Curtain Up Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps ease the effects of cancer through the creative arts. Rachel’s professional interests lie in bringing her expertise in cancer rehabilitation and her love of the arts together for the benefit of those affected by cancer. In her spare time, Rachel can be found outside running, cycling, kayaking, or enjoying a round of golf with family and friends.
